Founded in 1999, Alibaba Group is the largest retail commerce company in the world in terms of gross merchandise volume. Alibaba’s mission is to make it easy to do business anywhere.

As of March 31, 2017, Alibaba had 454 million annual active buyers and 507 million mobile monthly active users on its Chinese retail marketplaces connecting with millions of merchants and brands. Alibaba’s businesses are comprised of core commerce, cloud computing, digital media and entertainment, innovation initiatives and others. Among Alibaba’s largest marketplaces it’s Tmall.com, China’s largest third-party platform for brands and retailers.

ZHAO Lei, Tmall Food General Manager
In the past ten years, ZHAO Lei has hold several senior management positions in Alibaba Group. Now he is responsible for Tmall all food category including wine & snacks.
ZHAO Lei joined Alibaba Group in 2007, since he is at the head of Tmall Wine & Spirits, this category has grown more than 500%. In 2015, Tmall sold more than 23 million bottles of wine and now Tmall is the most biggest online wine sales platform.

Born in China where she grew up until 7, she followed a French education while her parents moved to Madagascar where she graduated from high school. Ada naturally came to France for higher education in international business and entrepreneurship. She embraced immediately the challenge founding her own company while finishing her studies in Paris. Found of modeling and fashion, she decided to help French fashion designers to create and source their collection from China (B2B) and at the same time created few e-shop (B2C) and one of its became a marketplace specialized in cashmere products, providing her a 360° knowledge of e-commerce activities. Ada also experienced many different missions in helping French company to deal with Chinese company.
Ada joined Alibaba in 2016, interested in meeting the challenge to help more French companies to get into China thanks to e-commerce in which she had 11 years of experience with marketplaces, dealing with the digital world actor’s and French SME. She has dedicated herself to make the French companies bloom and get more market share in China.
